The 2026 EJTN Catalogue of Training Activities is here

Meeting

We are proud to announce that the 2026 EJTN Catalogue of Training Activities is now available!

This past year, the European Judicial Network has reflected on 25 years of supporting the professional development of European justice practitioners through dynamic, high-quality training programmes that foster judicial excellence and cross-border cooperation.

As European justice systems grow in both complexity and scope, our carefully designed Catalogue provides European judges, prosecutors, court staff, and trainers with the tools to navigate their evolving needs.

This year’s Catalogue highlights the foundational principles of our shared values and goals: judicial integrity, independence, and a commitment to upholding democratic principles. Through interactive webinars, engaging in-person seminars, the wide-reaching exchange programme and our flagship initial training initiatives – the Erasmus-style AIAKOS Programme and the THEMIS Competition – these values can be realised.

The needs of European judges, prosecutors, court staff, and trainers were at the forefront of the designing process by EJTN Working Groups and Sub-Working Groups, who wanted to ensure that every initiative is both relevant and impactful.

What is new in the 2026 Catalogue?

  • A dedicated summit to explore Artificial Intelligence in our justice systems to boost the readiness of judicial practitioners in interacting with technological innovations
  • An enhanced development of judicial leadership through the multiplier effect to increase the scope of impact
  • The Digital Ambassador Programme will continue to empower justice practitioners to lead in a shared commitment to the digital transformation of justice

This year’s Catalogue could not have been realised without the invaluable contributions of EJTN Members, Associate Members, Observers, Partners, Activity Coordinators, and National Contact Points. A special thank you also goes to the European Commission for the financial support that makes these training activities possible.

We encourage all members of the European judiciary to explore the 2026 Catalogue and to take advantage of the diverse training opportunities offered this upcoming year.
