Discussing gender equality in justice and how to achieve it through training – join us on 10 March

Meeting

On 10 March, the International Day of Women Judges, the European Judicial Training Network will host an online conference titled Gender Equality in Justice: How to Achieve it Through Training?

According to the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ), while the European judiciary is predominantly feminine men tend to occupy more of the leading position, and gender biases remain in the judiciary. Addressing these challenges is crucial to empower future generations of female leaders to enter and thrive in the justice sector.

Organised in collaboration with EJTN members and esteemed partners, this online event will cover topics, such as:

  • gender equality in the judiciary
  • the different approaches adopted by European institutions and national judicial training institutions
  • career advice from women who have reached high-ranking positions in the European judiciary

We will announce a more detailed list of speakers in due course, but make sure to save the date for 10 March, 12:00-14:30 (CET)!

Pre-registration to this event is necessary – access the registration platform here.
