On the 23rd of January 2024, the EJTN organised its Training Need Assessment event which took place in a hybrid format, online and in Brussels.
This event gathered 77 participants from European Commission (including DG-Just and other DG’s), European judicial training institutions and other partner organisations working in the field of justice and that of judicial training. This event aimed at identifying areas where training is needed as well as the best way to deliver such training.
Workshops of thematic and mixed portfolios included a variety of fields: Administrative, Criminal and Civil Law, Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Linguistics, Judicial Training Methods, Exchange Programme and Digitalisation. During these sessions, participants had vivid and passionate discussions on the current and future trends of judicial training. The results of the workshops will be taken into account in preparation of the EJTN 2024 and 2025 training offer.
