The 2026 EJTN Digital Ambassador Programme to launch this spring

Meeting

The European Judicial Training Network is pleased to announce the launch of the second cohort of the EJTN Digital Ambassador Programme, also titled ‘Building a Common Digital Culture’.

Continuing on the success of the 2025 edition, the 2026 programme will consist of five thematic webinars and one e-learning course, which are all aimed at strengthening digital knowledge, skills, and cooperation within the European judiciary.

Selection criteria and how to apply

EJTN welcomes applications from current Digital Ambassadors as well as new candidates.

Particular attention will be given to ensuring national diversity, gender balance, representation from the different branches of justice (criminal, civil and administrative), as well as participation from candidates at various stages of their careers, including both earlycareer and experienced judges. Please note that a very good command of English is mandatory for all selected participants.

The role of the EJTN Digital Ambassadors is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and to ensure a multiplier effect at national level. Candidates should ideally have responsibilities related to training and/or digitalisation with national courts, ministries and judicial schools.

Selection will be based on:

  • Previous experience in digitalisation-related topics
  • Relevant academic background or professional specialisation
  • Proven experience in training activities in the digital field
  • Note: applicants who have not yet completed the Digital Ambassador Programme will need to also complete webinars and e-learning modules of 2025. The new applicants will also need to provide an action plan.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the National Contact Point of each participating country.
