TRAINING CONTENT AND TARGET AUDIENCE

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The aim of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills to allow prosecutors and law enforcement officials to fulfil their roles relating to cybercrime investigations, improving the use of electronic evidence in investigation and prosecution of cybercrime and relevancy and admissibility of such evidence.

General Learning Outcomes - upon completion of the activity the participants will be able to:

  • Gain insights into issues of cybercrime investigation and electronic evidence
  • Identify and secure electronic evidence
  • Prepare for search and seizure activities involving electronic evidence
  • Know the tools and methods how to collect, preserve, analyse electronic evidence.
  • Develop coherent and legible case reports related to the collection and preservation of the electronic evidence for the law enforcement and judicial authorities
  • Include the newest experiences in investigation and prosecution of cybercrime in such criminal cases.
  • Use international channels to exchange information packages related to electronic evidences within cross border cases
  • Understand the legal framework of electronic evidence

Target Group: Prosecutors, preferably who have handeled cases relatet to cyber-crime, e-evidence

 

 

Application procedure: 

All applications must be submitted through the candidates' national EJTN member institution.

Participation:

Upon invitation by EJTN, participants register via EJTN online  platform to which they receive access.
After the event, reimbursement is processed via EJTN online platform.
